So pleased to finally be out of self-isolation. I have managed to go to church and my other choir practice, so nice to be able to meet up with other people. One side-effect of the self-isolation is that Arwen and I are now singing the Six Soundtrack.

It has been a weird week. Being in self-isolation has meant we have all been at home together all week and everybody is keeping their own timetable. Getting up at 4am and nipping to the loo or getting a drink you could bump into anyone. It has become almost normal that people are cooking in the middle of the night 😆 All our tests have come back negative and our 10 days are up tomorrow. Now will begin the fun task of trying to encourage everyone to get back to a normal routine 😀
Today’s project is the gift that I made for the teacher’s. It’s a post-it note holder and pen set. I sell quite a few of these at school fairs.
Pansy Petals Suite – Annual Catalogue 2021/2022 pages 28/29
Post-it Note Holder Base – Bumblebee Cardstock 7 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ scored @ 3 1/2″, 3 7/8″ and 4 1/4″ Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 3 1/8″ x 2 7/8″ Scrap of Basic White cardstock for the pansy.
Fold and burnish the score lines. Fold the score lines together and cut the slits for the pen to go in.
Attatch the square of DSP to front of the post-it note holder.
Glue the last scored section to the back panel leaving the slits for the pen.
Glue in the Post-it note and put the pen in the slots.
Finish off by adding the pansy and gems.
On Tuesday, I will bring you the measurements for the bag and tag.
Don’t forget, you only have a few more days to take advantage of the Designer Series Paper sale. Check it out in my shop.
My daughter has got Corvid and is at home with her two small children. We are also self-isolating as she had visited us the day before. We are talking a lot by video messenger. Today’s card is the result of asking my grandchildren what colour my snowflake card should be. My 6 year-old granddaughter said blue and my 3 year-old grandson said pink😀
Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set – Annual Catalogue 2021/2022 page 90
Card Base – Balmy Blue 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″ 1st layer – Basic White 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ Sentiment – Balmy Blue 3 1/2″ x 1″

The snowflakes were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I then used sponge daubers to add colour to the card.
The sentiment was stamped in Whisper White ink and then fussy cut.
They have promised us some cooler weather, so I may get around to doing some more crafting. It’s been too hot to do anything 😀
