Anchor Card

Another simple Card today using the Sailing home set. I loved this set as soon as I saw it and have used it so many times. This time I wanted to concentrate on the anchor.

Weekly Challenge 4 – Water and Our Third Set of Pinkies Projects

Thanks to this week’s migraine I got a bit confused and muddled the posts up, so today is the Wednesday challenge 😆

For a challenge about water, it seemed fitting to use watercolour paper and this stamp set was one of my favourite sets from the 2019/2020 catalogue and of course we needed to add some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the water.

Sailing Home Stamp Set – Annual Catalogue 2020/2021 page 31

Card Base – Night of Navy Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8
1st layer – Watercolour Paper 5 3/4″ x 4″
Sentiment – Whisper White Cardstock 2″ x 1 1/2″
Lighthouse – Whisper White Cardstock 3 1/2″ x 2″
Boat – Whisper White 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Inside layer – Whisper White Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

Our third set of projects from the Pinkies Weekend were designed by Stacey Marsh. Stacey designed two lovely projects for us to make, but I had a problem. Stacey used the Trimming the Town Suite from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue and as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I probably shouldn’t admit this, but I just didn’t like it at all. I really, really wanted to make the projects, so I decided to put my own spin on them. To see Stacey’s Sampler visit her blog at http://www.staceymarsh.co.uk.

I love the fact that the Pinkies Weekend has given me the opportunity to make some new homemade decorations. Why not share some of your favourite decorations.

Until next time, happy crafting
