This card uses the Scrappy Strip Technique from Australian demo Bruno Bertucci. I think the papers in this suite work really well and I was really please with how this card turned out.

Lovely You Card

Lovely You Card

Yesterday was a great day, my eldest daughter came up to visit from near Bristol. Four out of my five children and my two grandchildren met up for a socially distanced visit in my middle daughter’s garden. It was only for a couple of hours, but it was just lovely to see them all. I usually see my grandchildren several times a week, but because of lockdown I have only seen them a handful of times since March and some of those were just to wave to from the front door.  Unfortunately, my daughter goes home again tomorrow so it will be a while until we can do it again, but it put a great big smile on my face.

For this card I made my own background using the Lovely You stamp set and a mix of last year’s and this year’s in-colours

Here is another project from the Pinkies weekend retreat using Bruno Burtucci’s Scrappy Strip Technique and designed by Stacey Marsh, visit her at https://www.staceymarsh.co.uk/

This card is a W fold, which I’ve not done before. It was a lot of fun to make and used the wonderful Boho Indigo Product Medley, which is now on my ‘must buy’ list  button_see-it-here

I will have another great project from the Pinkies weekend to share with you tomorrow.

Until next time, happy crafting
