Anchor Card

Another simple Card today using the Sailing home set. I loved this set as soon as I saw it and have used it so many times. This time I wanted to concentrate on the anchor.

Sailing Home Stamp Set and Smooth Sailing Dies – Annual Catalogue 2021/2022 pages 51 and 165

Card Base – Crumb Cake Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
1st layer – Early Espresso Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Scraps of Basic White Cardstock for the sentiment and Anchor.

Inside layer- Basic White Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

The Anchor on the front of the card was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in Copper.

It was then Die Cut using the Smooth Sailing dies, and the twine was threaded through the top several times.

The sentiment was stamped in Crumb Cake ink and die cut using the Smooth Sailing Dies.

This was my favourite set from last year’s annual catalogue and was carried over into the new catalogue. I have used the new in-colour Misty Moonlight. Love the way the lighthouse fit into the die from the Tasteful labels dies.

My final project that I am sharing from the Pinkies’ Weekend retreat is a Diorama card with removable room décor designed by Pinkies Team Leader,  Michelle Last. You can find her over at https://www.michellelast.co.uk/

I think this is such a lovely idea and very simple to make.

This month’s class in a bag is now available to order. For more information check out the class page

Tomorrow I will be sharing my swaps from the Pootlers Team’s Annual Catalogue swap.

Until next time, happy crafting
