Gilded Dragonfly

I was so excited when I first saw the Gilded Leafing in the mini catalogue. Make sure to keep the windows closed and no fans on when you use it though, otherwise you will decorate your whole room 😆

Dragonfly Thank You Card

This is a very unusual colour combination for me. I do not usually do pink, but thought the pinks with the sparkle from the wink of Stella would work so well.

Dragonfly Garden – Jan – June 2021 page 27

Card Base – Rich Razzleberry Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
1st layer – Melon Mambo Cardstock 5 3/4″ x 4″
2nd layer – Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
3rd layer – Very Vanilla Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
4 Dragonflies – Very Vanilla Cardstock 9″ x 2″

The colour was bled to colour the dragonflies using Wink of Stella.
The ribbon was coloured with Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends

For some reason I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the card, but I stamped one of the Dragonflies inside in Flirty Flamingo.

I do like this set and will definitely be using it more.

Until next time, happy crafting

Dragonfly Garden Card

This card as you will see from the inside is actually a Mother’s Day card, but I couldn’t post it until Mum had received it 😀 I bought this bundle especially to make a card for Mum, but this is part of a bigger Suite called the Dandy Garden Suite which includes the Garden wishes bundle together with Designer Series paper and lots of other things.

Dandy Garden Suite- January – June 2021 Mini catalogue pages 24-27

Card Base – Pretty Peacock Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded 4 1/8″
1st layer – Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
2nd Layer – Basic White Cardstock 5 1/2″x 3 1/2″
Inside layer – Basic White cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

The Dragonflies were stamped in the chosen colour and then the ink was spread over the wings using Wink of Stella.

The flowers were coloured using Stampin’ Blends.

The photo doesn’t really show how beautiful the ribbon really is. It is two-tone Pretty Peacock and Old Olive and I really love it. I wish I had got some before. This will definitely be going in my hair soon 😀 What products do you love? What do you use your Stampin’ Up products for that isn’t necessarily what they were intended for?

Until next time, happy crafting
