Weekly Challenge 4 – Water and Our Third Set of Pinkies Projects

Thanks to this week’s migraine I got a bit confused and muddled the posts up, so today is the Wednesday challenge šŸ˜†

For a challenge about water, it seemed fitting to use watercolour paper and this stamp set was one of my favourite sets from the 2019/2020 catalogue and of course we needed to add some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the water.

Our third set of projects from the Pinkies Weekend were designed by Stacey Marsh. Stacey designed two lovely projects for us to make, but I had a problem. Stacey used the Trimming the Town Suite from the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue and as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I probably shouldn’t admit this, but I just didn’t like it at all. I really, really wanted to make the projects, so I decided to put my own spin on them. To see Stacey’s Sampler visit her blog at http://www.staceymarsh.co.uk.

I love the fact that the Pinkies Weekend has given me the opportunity to make some new homemade decorations. Why not share some of your favourite decorations.

Until next time, happy crafting

Weekly Challenge 3 – One Sheet Wonder

Been a strange few days. My daughter developed a cough, but getting a test was easier said than done, it took us four attempts šŸ˜†. The whole family had to self-isolate, but thankfully her test came back negative. To be honest as much as I love my family, I am glad that they can all go back to school, college and training. Three autistic adult family members and a teenage boy at home with 3 PlayStations, an Xbox, a laptop, an iPad and various phones going at once, the Wi-Fi struggles and costs a fortune in electricity, not to mention the noise, which even the sound sensitive ones among them don’t seem to notice. Wrong sort of sound šŸ˜†

The challenge this week is a one sheet wonder. I have decided to turn mine into cards.

Weekly Challenge 2 – Monochromatic Project

The challenge from Stampin’ Up UK this week was to make a monochromatic project. This was my card which I chose to do in Petal Pink. Apart from the quality of Stampin’ Up products, the other reason I love them is that everything coordinates perfectly. For this project I was able to use my Stampin’ Blends to colour the ribbon and pearls to match.
