Pansy Petals Card

This is one of those bundles you really have to have a good play with to get the most out of it. I would also suggest checking out YouTube if you are struggling with it, as there are several good videos on there showing you how to use all the different elements.

Pansy Petals Suite – Annual Catalogue 2021/2022 pages 28 and 29

Card Base – Bermuda Bay Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
1st layer – Mint Macaron Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
2nd Layer – Basic White Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
Scraps of Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party and Soft Saffron Cardstock for the pansies
Scraps of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Cardstock for the leaves.

Inside layer – Basic White cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

Die cut out the elements as shown in the picture. For the overlay pieces I would recommend using adhesive sheets as it is very messy using liquid glue.

For the inside of the card I used the smaller pansy stamps.

Don’t forget it is also a great time to join and you could pick a bundle from the mini catalogue for free. Check out my shop for more details.

Turtle Friends Birthday Card

This bundle was a must have for me from the new catalogue, I just love it. Unfortunately, I was obviously not concentrating when I did my order and forgot to order the bundle. So I will have to order the punch separately and lose out on the 10% discount. So don’t be a ninny like me and check you enter the right code or click the link below to avoid that problem 😆

Turtle Friends Bundle – Annual Catalogue Page 56

Base Card – Granny Apple Green Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
1st layer – Mossy Meadow Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
2nd layer – Basic White Cardstock 5″ x 2 1/2″
Scrap Basic White Cardstock for the turtles
Ribbon – 6 1/2″

For the background I blended Balmy blue for the sky and Pear Pizazz for the grass.

The turtles were stamped in Memento black ink, coloured with Stampin’ Blends and then I stamped the shells.

The ribbon was the white faux linen ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season combo pack, which I coloured with my dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend and let dry for a few minutes.

As I think I have previously mentioned, we have a new mini catalogue coming soon and with it a second chance at Sale-a-bration this year which is exciting. Even more exciting is a new joining offer, so watch out for details of how to join my team and take advantage of that offer soon 😃

A Good Man

It was my husband’s birthday on Wednesday and this was the card I made for him. This set has been around for a while, but this is the first time that I have used it. I also decided to play with one of our decorative masks. For his birthday he had a basic computer which we are upgrading slowly, and I am typing my blog on it and I like it so much better than my laptop. I’ve missed having a proper computer in the house. Shandy has now decided he wants to do the same for his birthday next month, which works for me as that will be one less person to fight for it 😆

A Good Man – Annual Catalogue 2021/2022 page 46

Base Card – Misty Moonlight Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
1st Layer – Basic White Cardstock 5 3/4″ x 4″
Misty Moonlight Cardstock – 3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″
Basic White Cardstock – 3 3/8″ x 2 5/8″

I secured the mask over the cardstock and started by adding the Balmy blue ink over the entire piece of card.

I then covered the bottom end of the card with Misty Moonlight.

The images were coloured using Stampin’ Blends.

We have some new masks in this annual catalogue which I am going to have to purchase soon. They are another great way of making an interesting background.

I have just received my copy of the August- December mini catalogue and the Sale-a-bration catalogue, so I will be bringing you some holiday projects and showing some of the great freebies you can get soon.

Don’t forget the Designer Paper Series Paper sale.

Fancy Phrases Multi-purple layered Card

This is the card I made for Mother’s Day for my Mother-in-law, but could equally be used for a birthday, anniversary or just because. I love the corners which were made with the Detailed Trio punch, which I don’t remember to use nearly enough despite having to buy a second one because I lost mine and missed it so much.

Fancy Phrases Stamp Set – Annual Catalogue 2020/2021 page 126

Base Card – Gorgeous Grape Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
1st layer – Highland Heather Cardstock 5 3/4″ x 4″
2nd layer – Very Vanilla Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

The image and the rhinestones were coloured with our brilliant Stampin’ Blends. I love that we can use the blends to colour our ribbons and embellishments so they match the cardstock and inks that we are using.

There is a very vintage feel to this stamp set and would be great for those of you who like to make shabby chic cards.
