I will be back

I did say I was taking the month of May off. However, I have hit a bit of a problem in the fact that I cannot currently access my craft desk or my living room.

I had moved the children’s entire bedroom into our living room so we could change rooms around and decorate their new room for them. Unfortunately, when we started, the artex started to crack and we are now waiting waiting for the experts to come in and tell us if there is asbestos in there. Hopefully, it won’t be much longer and I will be back with you.

Until next time, happy crafting

Taking a break

I am writing today to let you know that I am going to be taking a break from my blog for the month of May.

It’s not the best time for me to do this as we have a new annual catalogue being released on Tuesday and there are lots of lovely new goodies I want to share with you, but I need to take this time to concentrate on my home and family. You can still check out my shop and if you would like a catalogue you can order one there.

Turtle Card

I’m really upset that this suite is retiring too soon and wish I had bought it earlier, so I could have brought you more projects with it. For this card I didn’t want add too much or it would detract from the lovely paper and unfortunately the photo doesn’t show you the turtles and sequins in their sparkly glory 😀

Whale of A Time Suite – Annual Catalogue 2020/2021 Page94

Card Base – Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded on the long side @ 4 1/8″
1st Layer – Whale of a time Designer Series Paper 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Sentiment 1st layer – Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
Sentiment 2nd layer – Basic White Cardstock
Scrap of Basic White for the turtles

Inside layer – Basic White Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

Stamp the turtles and fussy cut them.

Blend the ink using Wink of Stella.

Tip 1: As these are photopolymer stamps you should use a mat under your cardstock to get a clear impression

Tip 2: Put a little liquid glue onto your silicone mat and pick up the sequins with the putty part of the Take Your Pick Tool to dip them in the glue.

We also have available for a limited time The Bouquet of Hope Paper Pumpkin kit

These products are available whilst stocks last, but if you miss out, fear not we have some great new products coming when the new catalogue goes live on the 4th May. Check out my shop for all the retiring offers.

We also have a great new joining offer when the catalogue goes live, but I will explain more about that another time.

Until next time, happy crafting

His Love

When my youngest two children were small we went to a big family church, but when my depression got really bad I stopped going. Just before the first lockdown I had started to feel better and went along to a nearer church which is much smaller as I wasn’t ready to go back to such a big church. I had only been there two months and had just joined the choir went lockdown started. However, during the lockdown the small church has kept in touch with me and I am in a different season of my life, the children rarely come to Church, so I have decided that the new church with older people is probably more me now. This card is to thank my old church for their love and support in the years that I was with them.

His Love – Annual Catalogue 2020/2021 page 50
