I am very excited this week because Thursday was my second anniversary as a Stampin’ Up! demo. Two years of fun, learning to make a variety of cards and 3D projects, running classes and craft days, starting my blog, attending corporate and team events and making lots of new friends. ot to mention taking advantage of the great discount. You could have all this too if you join my team. If you join now during Sale-a-bration, you could take advantage of our fabulous joining offer.
Last time I promised to share the card that I made for my Mum’s 70th birthday, using the Sale-a-bration set Thoughtful Blooms. You can get this set free with a £45 order. I am using the retired number dies for this project as it was a special birthday, but it was a pretty card without the numbers.
Thoughtful Blooms – Sale-a-bration
Base Card – Costal Cabana 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded @ 4 1/8″
First Layer – Whisper White Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Inside Layer – Whisper White Cardstock 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Scraps of Costal Cabana Cardstock
Cut out 6 sevens and 6 zeros from scraps of Costal Cabana cardstock. Layer three of each number together to give depth and leave to dry.
In the centre of the leaves stamp the lined flower in Costal Cabana.
Use the largest of the solid 5 petal flowers to stamp in Costal Cabana on top of that lined flower.
Stamp these flowers on the bottom right-hand of your inside layer.
Then fill in the gaps with the dots in Petal Pink.
Attach one of the sets of 70 to the bottom left-hand side of the front of your envelope.
Stamp the small solid flower in Costal Cabana randomly all over the rest of the front of your envelope.
Add a piece of ribbon to the front layer of your card. Tie a bow and attach to the ribbon using glue dots.
We can now assemble our card.
Affix the centre layer into your card.
Attach the front layer to your card and then add the 70 to the centre.
Finally, finish off by adding Rhinestones to the front of your card.
I now have lots of new goodies to play with, so come back on Wednesday to see some of the wonderful new things on offer.
Until next time, happy crafting
