Tree Tags in Pouch

Plaid tags and pouch

This was a project that I did for my last class. I was having a difficult time with my mental health and hadn’t been doing much crafting, so wasn’t at my best. However, it proved to be one of the classes favourite projects I’ve done, which gave me a boost 🙂

Pouch base – Whisper White Cardstock 7″ x 3″
Pouch layers – DSP 3 7/8″ x 2 3/4″
DSP 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
Tags – six pieces of Whisper White Cardstock 3 1/2″ x 1 3/4″
Designer Series Paper 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 2 1/2 x 1 1/4″

Punch the end of the Pouch Base with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Cut off the excess card on either side of the tag.

Add the DSP to the Pouch.
Add tear and tape to form the pouch.
Stamp the sentiment onto the piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock in Versamark. Coat with Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and set with the heat tool.
Fix to the front of the Pouch with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add some ribbon to the top of the pouch and secure with twine.

Using the five pieces of Whisper White Cardstock, punch the top of each with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.
Decorate the tags with a mixture of stamped images and punched trees.
On the reverse stamp the To: and From:
Thread some twine through the top of each tag.

On Wednesday I will have a project using another set from the Holiday catalogue, that is versatile, so can be used for different seasons.

Until next time, happy crafting,

Cas xx
