Daisy Lane Card

This week has been hot. I do not do hot and am not functioning well and suffering migraines. It is also a very busy week and I have been trying to get my display and stock together for my niece and nephew’s school fair and my monthly class.

Today’s card is one of my class projects. It is a simple, but effective card showcasing one of the lovely new in-colours, Pretty Peacock.

Base Card – Thick Whisper White Cardstock 8 1/4″ x 5 3/4″ Scored and folded at 4 1/8″
Layer 1 – In Colour Designer Series Paper 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer 2 – Whisper White Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″

On the inside of your card stamp the full Daisy.

Also stamp the same daisy on the back flap of the envelope.

On the front of the envelope stamp the medium daisy.
Then stamp a medium daisy onto a piece of scrap card and two of the larger daisies. Punch these out.
Layer your daisies together using glue dots.

On layer 2, stamp three ferns on the left hand side in the centre.
Stamp your sentiment at the bottom right-hand side.

Now we can assemble our card.
Layer the DSP onto the base card and then affix layer 2 on top.
Place the assembled daisy in the centre of the ferns.

Finish off by putting a gold faceted gem in the centre of your daisy.

My next project will be a co-ordinating box, so come back on Wednesday to see that.

Until next time, happy crafting

Cas xx
