Can’t cope with Technology

Today’s blog is a three-in-one. I don’t know if it’s my age or my brain, but I have been merrily scheduling my blog not realising I was saving as pages not as blog posts, so no idea where my projects are, but these are the last three blogs you should have seen. Hope you enjoy them.

small gift bag

A little gift bag cased from my lovely friend and upline at Debsydaisy Crafts. I have used the Floral Romance DSP which is only available until the 3rd of June, but lots of lovely new Designer Series Paper coming in the new catalogue on the 4th June. Also if you want to take advantage of the 10% discount on the Butterfly Gala bundle you need to order by the 3rd June. It is currently on backorder, but will be sent out as soon as they come in.

Floral Romance Designer Series Paper 12″ x 6″
Scraps of Very Vanilla and Pear Pizazz
On the 12″ side score at 2″, 5″, 7″ and 10″
On the 6″ side score at 2″

Lay the paper as shown in the picture and cut from the bottom up to the scoreline as shown.

Cut off the bottom left-hand square.

Assemble your bag using Tear and tape.

Pinch in the sides of your bag to shape.

Punch two holes in the top of your bag and thread some ribbon through and tie in a bow.

Using the the Starburst punch, punch out some Pear Pizazz cardstock
Punch a 2″ circle from the Very Vanilla cardstock. In the centre stamp your sentiment
On a scrap of Very Vanilla, stamp your butterfly and colour using your Stampin’ Blends. Then punch your butterflies out
Wind some twine around the body of the butterfly and tie a knot leaving some for the antennae.
Layer your Very Vanilla circle onto your Pear Pizazz Starburst.
Glue the small butterfly underneath your sentiment.
Using dimensionals, add your sentiment to your bag.
Shape the wings of your large butterfly, add some glue to the twine and affix it near the top of your circle as shown in the picture.
As this was a project for my class and I couldn’t let them take them home empty, we filled them with toffees, they actually hold quite a lot 🙂
Until next time,

Happy Crafting

Life has a habit of getting in the way of the good stuff and just recently I have had a lot going on with my family which I won’t bore you with, but needed to be given my full attention. I am however full devoted to my Stampin’ Up! business and anyone of you lovely people who stick with me, so if I am AWOL it just means family and my mental health issues have had to take my attention for a while.
