This project was due out on Saturday, but I somehow didn’t set the date properly, so now the DSP is no longer available 😦 We do however have lots of other lovely papers for you to choose from if you visit my store 🙂
A lovely Easter basket cased from France Martin at http://www.frenchiestamps.com
Pool Party Cardstock 6″ x 6″
Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP) 6″ x 6″
Pool Party Cardstock 8″ x 1″
Attach the DSP to the 6″x6″ Pool Party Cardstock using snail.
Punch a hole in either end of the long strip of cardstock and run a piece of ribbon between the two holes. Curl It slightly with your bone folder to form a handle.
Put your square on the scoreboard DSP side down.
Score at 2″ and 4″. Turn 90°
and score at 2″ and 4″
Cut up the top and bottom square as far as the scoreline.
Round the corners on both sides of all 4 outside squares.
Bring the two side square in towards the centre until they just meet and punch a hole through all three layers.
Turn it around and do the same on the other side.
Bring the two side squares in and put a brad through. Add The handle and push the brad through the final square and secure. Do the same the other side.
Punch out two small flower and secure them over the Brads with glue dots. Add a pearl to each side.
Make a bow and add to the top of your handle with a glue dot.
Fill with shredded paper and yummy Easter treats.
These are quick and simple to do, so I’m off to male lots more for my grandchildren, nieces and nephews 🙂
Until next time,
