Postcard Pals

I hadn’t really paid attention to the Postcard pals until now, but I wanted o play with the marbled background and decided I needed a new set to go with it. I actually think it is very sweet. Also gave me my first go at using the watercolour pencils and a blender pen.
Postcard Pals – pg 49 Annual Catalogue
Base Card 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ scored and folded at 4 1/8″
Whisper White 6″ x 5″
Inside layer 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Piece of Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
Scrap of Whisper White

On the large piece of Whisper White stamp the marbled background using the Stamparatus in one colour, the turn your card and stamp again in your second colour.
Cut it down to 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

On the inside layer, stamp your sentiment.
Stamp the sentiment on a piece of scrap Whisper White and punch out using the Classic Label Punch.

Stamp the otter on the front of your envelope.

Stamp the otter on the 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″piece of Whisper White.

Cut out using the largest oval.

Colour with watercolour pencils using the blender pen for a smoother finish.

 

 

potcard palsNow we can assemble our card.

Affix the inside layer.

Glue the marbled background to the front of your card.

Place the oval in the centre near the top using Dimensionals.

Position the sentiment under the oval using Dimensionals.
Finish off with some Metallic sequins

Think I will have to play with this stamp set a bit more 🙂
