Wow, what a fantastic weekend.
I am part of the Daisy Dazzlers (Debbie Toner’s Team) at the first level and the Pootlers (Sam Hammond Donald’s Team) at the second level and then Pinkies (Michelle Last’s team) at the third level, which means I am part of a group of hundreds of ladies and also some gentleman. Some who just do it as a hobby and others who are building a business. It’s great to be able to get advice and inspiration from such a great group of people.
This weekend the lovely Sam put on a team retreat on Saturday and Sunday in Manchester and nearly 50 of us attended.
We had the opportunity to make five projects designed by Sam from Pootles.co.uk, Angelina from Intatwynedesigns.co.uk, Gez from Nigezza.co.uk, Heidi from Flutterbyheidi.co.uk and Tina from tinaskreativbox.de which were all brilliant. Check out their blogs for lots of great ideas.
We also took along our swaps. I used the new Takeout Thinlits Dies and Cauldron Bubble Bundle (instructions coming soon) from the new Autumn/Winter catalogue.
I filled mine with Halloween chews and jelly eyeballs to continue with the Halloween theme. I also received lots of lovely swaps back from the very creative ladies attending.
I received a variety of little gifts amongst them including stationery items, blowing bubbles, candles, bookmarks, scissor charms, sweeties and a gorgeous clay owl plaque.
There was lots of wonderful food, with pastries and cakes by the truckload 🙂
The photo at the top is a picture of the whole team celebrating 30 years of Stampin’ Up!
