Swap Card using Petal Palette – Annual Catalogue Page 119

Every month I take part in different sorts of card swaps with ladies around the world. This month one of my cards was a Sketch Card.

If you click on the items links, you can see them in my shop.

2 pieces of Painted glass Designer series Paper (DSP) 3 ½” x 1 ¼”
Mint Macaron Cardstock4 ¼” x 3”
Whisper White Cardstock  4” x 2 ¾”
Whisper White envelope
Petal Palette Stamp Set
Stampin’ Blends
Faceted Dots
Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals

We will start with our stamping.

Using the piece of Whisper White 5 ½ x 3 ¾” we will stamp the little bird in the left-hand corner.
We will also stamp him on the front of our envelope, again in the bottom left-hand corner.
And if we turn our envelope over, we will stamp the little flower on the flap.
On our piece of Whisper White 4” x 2 ¾” we are going to stamp our Branch in the centre of the card, leaving space for our little bird to sit on the branch (when you stamp you need to ensure you have the stamp low enough down that he will be sat in the right place) and the sentiment in the bottom left-hand corner.

Now we can colour our Painted Glass DSP with our Stampin’ Blends.

We will start by assembling the inside of the card. So using liquid glue, glue the the piece of Whisper White 5 ½ x 3 ¾” to one of the pieces of Nature’s Poem DSP. Then affix that to the inside of your card.

For the front we will take the other piece of Nature’s Poem Dsp and glue that on.
Then, Glue your coloured Painted Glass DSP to you two small bits of Whisper White Card, then glue those each end about ¾” from each end of the DSP. We will use Stampin’ Dimensionals to Centre our Bird on a branch on the front on the card.
Finish of the card using the Faceted Dots.

Happy Crafting
